This Privacy Policy explains how Lift collects, uses, shares, and protects information when you use our website, application, Chrome extension, AI-powered features, and related services collectively, the "Service."

1. Information We Collect
Account Information

AI Feature Inputs and Outputs
When you use AI-powered features, including AI Chat, code explanation, code analysis, Code Translation, code conversion, and related functionality, we process the prompts, code snippets, instructions, and related context you submit.
Lift uses OpenAI to provide AI-powered features. When you use AI features, your prompts, code snippets, instructions, and related context may be transmitted to OpenAI for processing and generation of responses.
Lift does not permanently store the content of your AI conversations.
Usage Data
We collect usage information, including the number of code extractions, AI chats, translations, conversions, and similar actions you perform during each billing period.
We use this information to enforce plan limits, monitor performance, prevent abuse, maintain security, troubleshoot issues, and improve the Service.
Payment and Subscription Information
Payments and subscriptions are processed by Stripe. We do not store full payment card details on our servers.
We may receive limited billing-related information from Stripe, such as subscription status, plan type, billing period, payment status, and customer identifiers.
Chrome Extension Data
The Lift Chrome extension processes webpage code only when you explicitly use the extension.
Extracted code is processed locally in your browser unless you choose to use AI-powered features. When you use AI-powered features, the code, prompts, and related context you submit are sent to OpenAI to generate the requested output.
Device and Technical Information
We may collect limited technical information, such as browser type, device type, operating system, IP address, approximate location derived from IP address, log data, error reports, and similar diagnostic information.
We use this information to operate, secure, debug, and improve the Service.

The Lift Chrome extension requests browser permissions necessary to extract code from webpages you choose to process.
The extension activates only when you explicitly trigger it. It does not run continuously in the background or collect data from pages you browse passively.
Extracted code is processed locally in your browser unless you choose to use AI-powered features. When you use AI-powered features, the code, prompts, and related context you submit are sent to OpenAI to generate the requested output.
